Why Taiwan might be better for hardware startups.
Spent 8 days in Taipei visiting prototyping houses and factories. This is what I learn.As we are preparing for our indiegogo campaign, we need to know roughly how much does our product going to cost when we go into small run productions because this costly is different from the Bill Of Materials that we gather when we are making prototypes. ¶ This costing that I’m trying to secure is based on DFM (Design for Manufacturing). It deals with designing the product in such a way that it is easier to manufacture or assemble the product.

This is very true.
At Intraix (my office) I would introduced Aeropress to my fellow collegues. Since then, only those who care less about the coffee goes for…It is all about the experinece. 🙆🏻 Like you, I’m crazy about coffee and I really need that boast in the morning. So I have an Aeropress in the house, although the result might not be as great as an Espresso machine. The clean up part is certainly faster. ¶ At Intraix (my office) I would introduced Aeropress to my fellow collegues.
